Taking out the trash
The service you have been receiving has been worthless lately. Your server cannot even stay online long enough for the raid array to initialize. You should be angry… I would be. That’s why your server is being thrown in the trash. A new, better, more expensive server has been built just for you.
All the data is currently being copied over to the new server. Be warned: there’s a lot of data, and your server is extremely sluggish right now (because the raid array is not initialized), so copying all the data may take a couple of days.
Once your website is running on this new server… your website will be faster than ever before — you’re going to love it. A faster, more reliable website is knocking on your door (it’s right around the corner).
Stay Tuned… this blog will be updated again soon.

Sounds like your raid controller went out.
Hope you guys get some of the new barcelonas (b3 rev please) or the qc xeons.

Is the ‘bravo’ and ‘unix’ the same server? and btw, the support ticket system isn’t working, I tried 3 times.

Marck,

Thanks for the reply but the ticket system is still not working. ticket number UKU-25796, IJW-39317 and FJV-59501 did not go through. Also, I’m receiving updated news from this server so I thought it was for my site. It would be nice to move my site to a faster server.

Is there a date set for when this will be completed? Ive been told that my site is being moved to this new server which is fantastic, but no idea as to when this will happen and until it does im stuck with my site on the old server which is up and down more times each day than a “disreputable lady” ’s underwear.
