The migration has been completed!

As of about 4:30am (EST) your website is now on a new server. You should notice a faster, more responsive website.

If you are missing a file or email, you can login to the old server and download it. Tentatively the old server will be kept online through March.

Old Server FTP IP: 209.51.152.154

New Server FTP IP: 207.45.186.58

Old Server cPanel login: https://209.51.152.154:2083

New Server cPanel login: https://207.45.186.58:2083

Old Server WebMail Login: https://209.51.152.154:2096

New Server WebMail Login: https://207.45.186.58:2096

No changes are required on your part if you are using the nameservers:

ns143.securenet-server.net
ns144.securenet-server.net

However, there may be some accessibility issues until the changes have fully propagated.

If you are using custom nameservers, you will need to update them to reflect the following IPs:

207.45.186.59

207.45.186.60

This server’s transfer has finished.  We will switching over the DNS tonight at midnight (3/28/08 23:59 EST) and running a final pass over the data just to make sure everything is consistent.  If you have any problems with your site after the migration, please do not hesitate to make a ticket at our helpdesk:

We will update this blog once the switch has been performed.

Spark Overhaul

Sunday, March 23rd, 2008

Good News…

Your server, spark.securenet-server.net (’spark’), will be getting a complete overhaul. Actually, your server is being replaced with a brand new server — featuring the latest and greatest technologies. Here’s the new server’s specs:

  • Dual Intel Xeon 2.33Ghz Quad-Core Processors (8 CPUs)
  • 16GB Kingston DDR2-667 ECC Fully Buffered RAM
  • 3Ware 9650SE RAID Controller
  • 3Ware Battery Backup Unit
  • 8 x Seagate Barracuda Enterprise Storage Hard Drives

(The server will use RAID-10 for optimal performance and reliability.)

A faster, more reliable website is coming soon (very soon). Right now all the files on your server are being copied over to the new server. This could take a couple of days due to the number of files on your server.

Stay Tuned… this blog will be updated frequently with status updates.
