Your server, ice.securenet-server.net, is undergoing a HUGE improvement. The entire server is being replaced with a newer model — at no charge. It’s our way of saying THANK YOU.
The actual downtime will be short, and the results will be amazing… expect to see a faster, more reliable website.
You are going to be blown-away – NO JOKING – the new server is breathtaking.
We are currently prepping the new machine and will be migrating the data from your current machine in the background over the course of the next few days. As mentioned, there will be no cost to you for the upgrade, though we do ask that you bear with us as there may be some slowdown while the copy progresses. We have quite a bit of data to transfer and the copy consumes some of the server’s resources.
We do not yet have an ETA for when the server will be switched to the new hardware, but rough estimates are early next week.
Stay Tuned… this blog will be updated as we have details regarding the upgrade.

Thanks for the update and the move - was about to complain and move to new host before next renewal due to the slowness of the sites and complaints from customers. Wish I’d known before you started the process though so I could do one last complete backup of all sites. Tried after reading your notice but CP operating very very slow today.

Thanks indeed for the update. I was also about to move to another hosting service because of the unbelievable low response of the server. But hopefully that is going to change soon.

WOW - I can only assume files are already on the new server, it seems extremely fast today!! One minor problem which I will post a note in the support section on. Thanks!

Thank you for the update. I think it was about time.
As of this morning it takes 125 seconds for the information on the Cpanel to be displayed after I enter Username and Password.
It also takes 180 seconds to get the information from PhpMySQL. I has been slow since you changed the panel but not THAT SLOW!
I have always received courteous, and usually very effective, service from the technical team and I want to take this opportunity to thank them for that.
Looking forward to experience the result of the move.

I can’t say I see any difference unfortunately.
I have found while the service from Ace has been exceptional the server performance / WAN link has let it down.
I am hoping I haven’t been moved yet and that’s the reason for the poor performance still.

Not fast for me… This should have been done months ago… Better late than never…

Sorry, we’re not moved over yet - must have been a time when the server had no traffic when I checked it and everything was screaming fast. I’m told we’re not on the new server yet and every day since then it has been slow again or not loading at all (DNS not working). Can’t wait till it is on the new to check it out!

I thought I would do a test. It takes 30 secomds for Cpanel to finish loading.
and 10 Seconds just for my front page to load and it has stuff all on it!

Do we have to make any changes with our registrar, such as Domain Servers? Right now they are pointing to ns923.securenet-server.net. Will this change? If so, what will be the new server name? so we are ready to make this changes as fast as possible.

Lighten up, folks. These guys are the best. If you are able to find a better hosting service…do it.
